If you have a Watt brothers store near you, go there. I got a pair of ceramic straighteners for £7, they may be cheap but they work.
GHD's would be the best for you and you can get these from hairdressers but they cost more, however you get hair care products with them that make sure you don;t ruin your hair while straightening it.

Go to Sally's and get a Curl Master Ceramic Straightener....its about $35 and works as good as a chi...find the one that gets up to 400 degrees
Absolutly never use a wet to strait......It singes the hair...no matter what anyone says....its the worst laziest invention I have ever seen.....hair need to be completly dry before you straiten it

Great Question
I had the Frizziest hair until i found Herbal Essences new hair products called NONE OF YOUR FRIZZNESS- it comes in shampoo, conditioner, and leave in conditioner. Its made with nectarine balm and pearls. AND it smells great and its cheap
and i have a great hair straightener called wet to straight! i love it
i use it right after i get out of the shower, and it turns the moisture of your hair into steam and it keeps it straight
its just great
you can get one at www.target.com
BEST OF LUCK

The remington wet 2 dry straighteners are the best. they have 30 heat settings and you can dry your hir when its dry, damp, or even wet. they work reallly well and it eliminates a hair dryer.
And herbal Essences' Dangerously Straight line will help you get it straight. i use both Dangerously straight products and my straightener and they work very well together. best of luck!

Try superdrugs, i got a pair there yesterday, it's they're own make but they seem good and they're of a cute colour, as well as being ceramic! They cost me £9.99, the cheapest you can get!
