I always think about human consciousness, the thoughts we think and the beliefs we hold. These are either positive (en-LIGHT-enment) or negative (darkness) Okay, everything has an equal and an opposite because everything is relative, so you can only experience light, if you also know what darkness is.
Once you have experienced both you have a choice. Do you want to live in light (positive beliefs, empowerment, education, enlightenment) or do you want to live in darkness (negative beliefs, low self-esteem, ignorance, powerlessness)? This I believe, is what is meant by a 'spiritual battle.'

yes, good and evil exist in this world and they are diametrically opposed to each other. Read the gospel of John the first few verses. So yes there is a battle going on, a spiritual one at that, that we can't see, but it's there. A battle between light and darkness, good and evil, God and Satan. let the truth set you free

Yes there is a battle, the battle between good(Light) and evil, darkness. We only have to look at the news to see this in all sorts of situations.

God the Creator is the true light. The darkness are spirits that rebel and destroy against the True Light.
There is a spiritual battle going on right now. It is prophecied that The Lord God of Israel is going to break the power of lying spirits of the east (antichrist spirits to destroy Israel) and save many people from deception.

I think there has always been a spiritual battle going on between the two forces. As this is a dual universe, and they are equal and opposing forces, it is the natural state of things. It is the battle inside our own selves - do we do what we know is right, or do we do only what benefits ourselves? - that is the important issue.

This is about understanding and belief…there is a war but bloodless war only exist in literatures so I call it a literally war against good and evil…evil wants to exist because it takes some few or more evil for life to be fun, then the existence of evil is unfortunate on the people it affects and so they wont let it be…like my good friend used to say…”when ever you see someone/people rejoicing over something, some other person/s are at another corner mourning over that same thing. Here you see what Bob Marley meant when he said some people got hopes and dreams while some other got means and way. The war is at heart, as you do one bad which is referred to as darkness, your heart fears the later end of it and it’s been afraid/paranoid of what price you may have to pay for another person to rejoice is what makes you cry out for good with we call light. When there is no good and evil, life is useless and hopeless. For the joy of the rich is that there is poor around to envy his riches and, the hope of the poor is that some people have got to survive from same situation and are now rich. The rich wants to get richer while the poor never wants to get poorer, being rich and on top is advantage for the rich to ride on the Poor’s horses and get ride on time and the poor now sees himself as light while the rich darkness. It’s a literally war and it’s a serious war if we want to be logical. Nobody is good at back and that’s the war we are talking about. You are not done till you get to the top and the top is no where to be found anyone who is standing on your way is darkness to your success and you have to pull it down seeing yourself as light. The person you are pulling down hence consider you his darkness and also wants you out of his way because life itself is war by heart. Some times; bloody and most times bloodless. Check it out yourself and see where the war between light and darkness comes from.

No, it's a political battle between groups that call themselves light, and that call the others darkness. NOTHING is spiritual, here.

If things were just so simple...
There are millions of different shades and sometimes light can burn your eyes while in darkness you cannot see. Sometimes you have to sit in a shady spot of darkness so that you don't get burnt by the light etc.
