You're little, but people come in all shapes and sizes. If you eat all your meals then I think you will be OK. You will gain weight as you grow. Don't worry, just be happy where you are and the rest will take care of itself.

One thing though, I am seeing that your screen-name is proud2bthin. Glad you are, but if you are trying to be that thin than you may want to talk to someone you trust.

Yes you are way underweight. I have been skinny all my life and I am 5'5 and 105 pounds and still underweight. My weight at 5'5 is suppose to be between 125-130 to be normal. I have a very small bone structure, but still look thin. At 88 pounds you must look like skin hanging off your bones. You have to look at your family too. Does thinness run in your family? Are you really eating right? You may be eating, but maybe not the right calories. What does the doctor have to say about it. If the doctor isn't concerned than you should be happy and not worry about it. Eat and be happy!!

It depends on how you carry your weight.

Im 80lbs(well pre-pregnancy weight - Im still pregnant)
and wore a size 00-0
But,
Im only 4'11" - Very Petite and I do not look anorexic
I wish I could gain more weight without being pregnant, but no matter how much I eat, I could never gain a lb.
Like I said, it just really depends on how your weight is distributed along with your height.
If you are unsure, check with a dr. As long as you are healthy, everything should be all good.

I'd tend to say yes, even for 13 that is a bit on the thin side. But if your doc says give you the thumbs up, then try not to worry, you probably just have a small frame and high metabolism. HTH : )

Technically, yes you are too skinny. A 5'6" girl usually weigh 110-120 lbs.
But as long as you don't have any health problems and you feel good and comfort (and proud as your name is) with your skinny look, nothing wrong with it. Maybe you have problem finding nice clothes with that size though, but don't worry.
I personally like very skinny girls, and form me your size is perfect.

seems like it. Well I'm a 14 male and only slightly taller, but I weigh about 40-50 pounds more.......and remember, there is nothing wrong with being fat. Don't worry about the way you look. It's best not to pay attention to Hollywood

Yes. You are WAYYY too skinny... You should be probably at lest 115 at that height... As long as you're not eating poorly (which you say you're eating fine..) then it's no problem... You'll gain weight once your metabolism slows down. I don't think you should change anything..except maybe eat more, but make sure it's healthy...

'It sounds like you're under weight but since you are just 13, you are probably pretty active. As long as you are eating healthy and feel ok, I don't think you have anything to worry about. What do your parents/parent think? If they think you look or act unhealthy They should talk to your pediatrition. Best of luck to you!

You are technically very underweight. What do you eat for your meals and snacks? Talk to your doctor about balancing your diet.

It sounds to me like your under weight for your age and height. You can check your BMI here http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/ this will tell you. But I think you should put on a few pounds.
