Hotels cost USD 20 or more a day. See www.asiarooms.com or www.kayak.com for more details. Because it depends on when you go. January is high season. Cause it's cold in Europe and Northern Asia.
Food is cheap, you can live on up to USD 10 per day depending on your tastes. See www.bangkoktonight.com, cost of living article in Tips
Famale companion, if you bring your own, shopping can add up. If you hire a escort, that can cost you up to USD 100 per day though I think you could negotiate it See www.bangkoktonight.com the escorts section. If you just want to have some company, go to the beer bars or for the night check out the go-go bars. Also read in Tips, "Bringing a girl to your hotel room" Further info go to www.bangkokbargirls.info
Other entertainment, beer is cheap, 90-120 baht per bottle. Drinking all day can add up to more than food. Entry to some historical places are around USD20 or less.
Transportation is cheap too. You can get around by taxi or tuk-tuk for a few dollars. The MRT subway or BTS Skytrain is very inexpensive and faster, less than One USD.
Internet connection: At some hotels it costs 100-120 baht for 15 minutes or 30 minutes. At the internet cafes it can cost like 90 baht for an hour.
So your real large costs are hotel, food, and entertainment including a female companion.
See also www.thaiwebsites.com for other information.
Have good trip.

Well... plan about 2500$ american dollars. for 10 days. travel and lodging is cheap. it depends if you want a real female or a transfestite. the lady boys cost more depending on opperation status. watch out, make sure you know what sex your paying for and use protection. too bad you cant find female company on your own, but many men have resorted to this state of hurt/petheticness. good luck.
