No, seriously - the harpists up there must have blisters on their fingers and thumbs by now. If I started to learn harp now, do you think they'd take in an atheist to give the resident harpists a break?

To Black_Hole_Gravity, yes, you have a point. But my logic is that just because I don't believe it's there doesn't necessarily mean it isn't. And as a gigging musician, I have to go where the work is.

Yeah, pretty good.

There's a street up there with a lot of clubs. You can hear the harps from the sidewalks. There is an overlooked aspect however. Most of the harpists are accompanied by bassists. Most are stand up acoustic, but some of the late night spots have electric. Harpists are a dime a dozen in heaven. You might just find yourself on the street passing the hat as a harpists in heaven. If you play bass, your going to more in demand up there, its a pretty sweet gig.

I guess, for bass players, it's the same in heaven as it is on earth. Who would have guessed it.

I,m so sorry, but only serious dick players are accepted. You might try, oh sorry, that causes blisters too. Personally I let in only "Baptised" Atheists, so "I" can,t let you in. Maybe in your next life as John Howard?? No, just forget it. Your doomed to Hell.

I think there's a bigger prerequisite to getting into heaven, don't you think? Like the belief in God...? ...maybe?
