My Mother Has Swollen Glands In her neck and a slight fever and a terrible headache and feels short of breath. Are These Signs of a more serious illness ?????

Swollen glands may be due to strep throat, but this will not cause shortness of breath. Pneumonia will cause shortness of breath, but not glands. Diphtheria can cause both. That is a rare possibility. Anyhow, a patient with shortness of breath must go to hospital ASAP.
