Talk to a vet. I know that tylenol and advil are very bad for dogs but my vet has prescribed buffered asprin for my puppy. It was not strong enough however and she gave us dermaxx an amazing pain killer for dogs.

Never! Aspirin is extremely harmful to pets. If the pet is having trouble with arthritis, you might try some of the remedies at the pet store. There are special products for arthritis in pets that are over the counter.

an adult asprin once a day is okay for a 30 pound dog, however, check with your vet. (just recently had to give asprin to my dog michelle due to a ruptured vein in her ear).

good luck.
