Yeah I don't think I'd do the tomato on ice cream thing, but it you made a nice tomato sherbert or frozen ice, I might consider it.

Not really, eeew! Doesn't even SOUND good! I'll just stay content with Tomato Juice and Sauces....thank you very much!LOL!
But did you see in Y! News about that guy in Texas who has figured out a way of frying Coca-Cola? He takes the syrup of CC and makes a batter out of it and adds a bit of cherry and strawberry syrup to it and deep fries the batter making "donut hole" sized pieces which are then assembled in a cup and topped with more CC syrup, whipped cream and a cherry. WHEW!!! I MIGHT consider trying that...at least ONCE!
If you can't readily find the article just type in Fried Coke in your search engine. I'm sure you'll find something on it....

I don't think it would taste all that horrible if you like tomatoes.
I just think you need to call it something other than Ice cream b/c that is what makes people steer clear.

Sure I would try it. I have tried garlic ice cream at the Gilroy garlic festival. I would rather it be made into the icecream rather than as a topping. You know it would be frozen tomato soup....

I would try a tomato sorbet (or sherbet) if it was made with water (not milk or cream) and was savory.
I've been violently (and instantly) ill on sauces which mix tomatoes with cream; it's a combination which just does NOT work (for me, at any rate).
