For my girlfriend's birthday, i wrote her a book with poems that i wrote and some by others. How will u guys feel if u receive such a present? Will a book of poems be too much, such that each single entry lose its effect?

Depends on your girlfriend. I would love it, but if you're not sure, put it together with some dark chocolate and a bottle of wine or something else that would make it a package deal. Take a little pressure off the book.
In the mean time, maybe you could sit MY boyfriend down and have a chat with him about romance!

I don't think a book of poems is too much. In fact, I think it is one of the most romantic and soulful boyfriend/girlfriend gift ideas that I have ever heard. Enjoy your creation, and enjoy your day!

depends how long youve ben friends with her for it to realy mean something
but i think its a good idea if youve known her for like 5 years or more
