The last few months I've felt lazy and no desire to go out with friends. I've also noticed that I have a shorter fuse than usual, even though I have an anger problem. If I bump my head, I'm usually pissed the rest of the day. That's how bad it is. The only thing I can think of is that I started working full-time now and the no desire to go out started around that time. Do you think this is the problem?Am I depressed? What's goin' on?

Your description sounds alot like me. I have been diagnosed with depression and general anxiety disorder. I have had this for many years. Go to your doctor and tell him/her exactly how you're feeling and behaving. There are alot of great meds that can and will help you feel good again. Good luck.

it is probably a combination of things that are making you feel like hibernating when work is done for the day. I would hazard a guess that you are tired out after a day at work and more so because you
a) are not used to the routine or the hours
and
b) a bit out of shape.

My suggestion is to force yoruself to get more active. Start at the local Y or a fitness center - enroll in a program for toning and conditioning to try to get your body moving and feelign better. Then force yourself ot get out there with frineds and do things that you always liked doing. Whether it's playing a sport or going to a movie or just wlaking in the park, it is essential that you get yoruself active.

I now it is going to be rough to get moving on this but it is essential unless you really want to become an anti-social couch potato and possibly develop clinical depression.

Hi CJ

Depression is caused mainly by lack or nutrition. Also do a colon cleanse to clean out the toxins in the body. This is also a must because if clean blood is not getting to certain parts of your body (brain in this case) then we have issues.

Vegetables for Mental Depression: Broccoli, cabbage, collard greens, corn, kale, peas, potatoes, turnip greens.

Cayenne and Lobelia: Cayenne will increase a person's feeling of vitality and activity--as it is a stimulant--without any bad after-effects, such as do other stimulants. Combined with Lobelia, it is wonderful in cases of depression or low spirits.

Best of health to you

Cheers
