I think the romantic thing that you can do is just be there for them, listen to them when they want to talk to you, give them a hug when they are down, doing stuff that he enjoys even if you don't.
Loving someone is romantic and any extra things that you do for that person is a bonus

Sit down with him and watch a football game, swear and throw things at the tv and burp and fart. When the game is over have a fantastic 7 course meal ready for him and YOU feed it to him. Then take him upstairs and after a mind shattering BJ, have sex with the big breasted blonde hooker you hired and let him watch. When all of that is over--put an adult diaper on him so that he doesn't even have to get his lazy a** out of bed to use the bathroom and then, leave the house for a couple of days--don't even call. I don't mind to learn a lapdance, pole dance or striptease and perform for him when he's tired or boring. If not, learn a more feminine and mature side, learn cooking of different dishes. Then, whip up some nice dishes for him so he gets to taste different food everytime he comes back home from work. I would also love to do surprises for him, so I can always keep our relationship romantic.
