I am the mother of three smart, beautiful, healthy kids and there isn't a day that goes by that I do not wonder if a decision I made regarding them is correct. I know as a parent I am not perfect as none of us are we learn from what we do. The bad thing with all of it is you have those that want their kids to grow up into responsible adults and those that really don't have enough sence to be classified as an adult themselves. To many parents are all about them and not what is best for their child so we have a future of a bunch of spoiled, self-cenetered people that will be adults in the near future. Parents need to wake up and see that a child isn't a toy that you can take out and play with then put it away it is a 24/7 responsibility until they are grown and even then you are still a parent. It is quicker to come on here and ask a ? than it is to take the money out of their fun stash and go to a doctor or to look at respetable websites for guidance. With the way the parents are today it is no wonder kids are killing kids at school, gangs are increasing and teen pregnancy is higher. I might be considered old fashioned in my ways but I am going to know my kids friends parents and if they don't have the good brains for keeping a child safe and protected then my child is not going over there. All parents need to take more of an interest in their kids.

Well, not really. I feel if you raise your child with good morals and a happy healthy home, your child will be able to make good decisions and turn out to be responsible well adjusted teens/adults. But with that being said, not everyone should be a parent and yes it is scary some of the questions that are asked. Raising a child is scary but there are some things that are just common sense. It is a definitely a different world then when I was growing up but I know more good parents and kids out there then bad.

Some of them but for the most part, no. You can't take one question as a reflection of a person's ability to do a good job. I would ask you a question, though. If you are concerned about the future of children, what are you doing to make a difference for children where you live?

Oh yes, I can't believe people are so lazy that they need to ask a question that they already know the answer to and if it's so hard for them search the internet or here this might be something hard for them, reading a book! I was and still am glued to reading about my children and making sure I am doing the perfect job for them. I see people ask about what to buy for the baby, and people should be asking an expert or their doctor not people here. I did all of my searching on BABYcenter.com and I never asked a stupid question like " am I pregnant?" Dumb butts LOL

All the time. There are so many parents who think that their kids come second or third in life. But, at least the people who don't seem as intuitive are asking for help. It's better than not asking at all.
