Wow! Their website doesn't make it very easy to locate. I finally found the info below under "Domestic Passenger Information." :

FREE BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE: The free baggage allowance (including both checked
and unchecked baggage) is determined by the class of the ticket paid (but not by the class actually traveled).

UNCHECKED BAGGAGE: Unchecked baggage must be of an appropriate size to fit in the enclosed overhead bin or beneath the seat. Each First Class passenger may carry-on two pieces and each Business or Economy Class passenger is limited to one piece only. Unchecked baggage is limited to 5kg in total weight and 20cm¡Á40cm¡Á55cm in dimension for each piece. Passengers may carry on up to two bottles of soft drinks or bottled water - not to exceed 1,000 ml.

CHECKED BAGGAGE: Regardless of a full or 50% of normal fare ticket, free baggage allowance of checked baggage for First Class is 40kg, Business Class is 30kg and Economy Class is 20kg. No free baggage allowance is granted to infants paying 10% of the normal fare. China Southern Airlines recommends that items needing special care should not beincluded in checked baggage. These include but not limited to: currency; jewelry; precious metals; computers; personal electronic devices; negotiable papers; securities or other valuables; business documents; passports and other identification documents or samples. The carrier's liability for the loss or damage of such articles in checked baggage is the same as other ordinary checked baggage.

PROHIBITED ITEMS: The following articles may not be carried on or be included in any checked baggage. These include but not limited to: firearms or equipment (including their main parts) used either by the armed forces or law enforcement; knives or cutting objects as prohibited by law enforcement; alcoholic drinks, explosives; flammable liquids and solids; corrosives; poisons; radioactive materials; oxidizing materials; magnetized materials; sharp and/or offensive articles which may be used to threaten the safety of flight and other items prohibited to be carried by the laws, regulations or orders of the government of The People's Republic of China. For additional details, please refer to The Regulations To The Safety Inspection of China Civil Aviation.

BAGGAGE LIABILITY LIMITATIONS: The carrier's liability for loss, delay, or damage to baggage is limited, unless a higher value is declared in advance and additional charge is paid. On domestic flights, the liability limitation is RMB 50.00 per kilo ($6.04 USD) for checked baggage. The total compensation(s) will be equal to the actual loss to the passenger if the loss is less than the limitation.
