To make you hair less oily, sprinkle some talc powder on it, then brush it out, or buy some witch hazel (it's an astringent) and rub it on the base of your hair, close to the scalp. As far as using olive oil on your hair, don't. It'll make your hair even more oily. Your could try that new pantene pro-v shiny hair shampoo.

Good Luck!

Wash your hair only 1 or 2 times a week. When you wash your hair just lather long enough to make it clean and get your scalp clean. Irritating your scalp by washing it for 30 minutes will just cause it to produce more oil. When you stop washing your hair everyday will be oily of course, but after about a month it should be a lot better. You could also try using gentler shampoo as well.

I have used Olive Manon Virgin Oil since young and it is indeed very effective for promoting hair growth and moisturing skin. I was introduced to it by my mum who's also an avid user. Never really had hair and skin quite dry when I was young, and I do see the difference now after years of using it. The method I was introduced to is called an Oil Pack. You'll have to massage the oil onto the skin and then keep it under wraps with a hot towel for about half an hour before showering. After shower and before sleep, apply gently on the affected area.

You may want to try their FREE PURE OLIVE OIL SAMPLES to see if it works for you lor... or email to following website for their recommendation. The staff is very prompt and helpful too.

I could wash my hair twice a day, it is so oily. NO do not use the olive oil, I tried and had such a mess it took forever to wash it out, it was sticky with an oil slick.

I tried everything and when I got my hair cut she recommened color. SO i am now a redish blond with hair like my avatar. Before I had sholder lenght hair and a blond. I have only wash it once a day and the next morning its ok for a morning class.
