Your mom needs to start deep conditioning her hair, and looking into other styling options such as rollers instead of curlers. If she continues to dye it and apply the heat to it, it will continue to fall out, until she's left with nothing.
While she's nursing her hair back to health, maybe you can convince her to wear human hair wigs for versatility--all which she can curl without damaging her own coif.
As for now, her hair won't be able to recover from the stress she's caused to it, and she will have no choice but to cut off the damaged and stressed portions of it.
If you can convince her to cut it, she may find that a healthy, short cut looks fabulous on her!
If she won't stay away from the hot styling, she'd be better off hot styling her hair with ceramic curlers (such as T3) which can be found at Sephora.com.

stop treating her hair. she needs to let it rest. sounds like she's addicted to hair dyes etc. sounds dumb.....but some women can't go with out it. my coworker is the same way. she keeps dying it when she is allergic to it. it burns her scalp. but will keep persisting cause she doesnt' think she looks good with her normal hair color. anyways, back to your ma. she needs to stop dying her hair and use hot oil treatments. maybe once a week. what i did when my hair got frizzed out from a bad perm job...they left it in to long. i left it in over night. did it again the next night. then it started to relax more. use gentle shampoo. maybe even baby shampoo.

she shouldnt dye hair hair so often, even if she insist, eat pills or food which is good for hair, absorb more protein, comb hair sofly n more often, do some hair treatments from time to time.
n she shouldnt curl hair hair so much, giv her hair a break.
if the hair issue is gettin more serious, go n see a doctor. afterall, its her own hair, dun take risk hon

first of all i think she should let her hair breathe which means stop dying it and stop curling it... just try to let it grow naturally and leave it alone for a while.

Hi, She needs to leave it alone for awhile. She has over processed it and damaged it. The only thing that will help is to quit doing anything to it. It will be hard for her because she is so use to messing with it.
