Hi - Its a matter of physics. Eat less calories/move more. If you are eating chips and candy and drinking soda, cut down or stop. A single candy bar has any where between 230 - 400 calories. Read the nutrition information panel on the things you eat and choose healthier snacks. Switch drinking soda to drinking water. Soda has approx. 110 calories per serving, the container ususally has 2 to 2-1/2 servings and we ususally drink the whole thing. Water has 0 calories. If you can't do water straight up, try the flavored waters with 10 calories. Eat a healthy breakfast everyday, it helps you control you appetite during the day. Get out and exercise or at least walk. You burn 1 calorie for every 20 steps. If you lift weights you will burn fat and gain muscle which will give you a more toned appearance (even if the scales say you are not getting any smaller). The best gauge is your clothes, if they are getting looser you are getting smaller. Try reading Shape magazine it usually has a number of good articles on weight management. Hope this helps get you started

Concentrate on healthy eating and pay attention to everything you put in your mouth. You don't have to diet, but change your eating habits. Sometimes, keeping a food journal is really helpful because you can see exactly what you've been eating. Definitely cut out junk food! Get out and exercise. It doesn't matter what it is, whether some type of sports, a dance class, or something else. A lifestyle change will make all the difference and you won't feel deprived. The weight will take care of itself.

first of all replace the bulk of your soda waters with real water,if you drink just 4 16 oz of bottled water a day you will feel better overall..I f you have a school work out area or YWCA find a TREAD CLIMBER, find a stair climber and then last of least a treadmill 30 mins a day 4 times a week will do wonders..If you like raquet sports..raquetball is excellent as well as swimming.I would say that doing these ideas in moderation and in a normal process will do justice as normal everyday practice and long term success. Good luck

Diets are okay and everything, but they can decrease your metabolism, causing your body to conserve fat. What you really need is some long, slow aerobic exercise. Go for at least 12-15 minutes per day or more, and don't stop doing this once you get rid of the weight you want to get rid of.
