i want to get my hair cut in a few weeks. its down to my mid-back. i dont want to cut it so much as get a new style like layers or stuff like that but i dont know exactly what i want. any ideas?

If you don't want to cut too much of your hair off, what you can do is get your hair angled around your face and get a side bang. Tell your hairdresser that you want side-swept bangs that go from your cheekbone to your chin at an angle. This will create style while also giving frame to your face. You can also add many layers throughout your hair. Your hairdresser may give you some layer tips that will look best for the length of your hair.

Try hair cut do.com, I got the pic for my hair cut there they have all lenghts and styles. So sad to see you get it cut. Mine was long and I kept getting it cut now it is the style like my avatar.

You should get a lot of layers, the are very complimenting on shorter hair. plus it looks a lot better then just being plain Jane. after you get your haircut you should ask your stylist to blow dry your hair straight and have her flip out your ends.its a very chic and sophicated hairstyle
