Hi, I'm 17 and in love with my best friend's younger brother who's 14 and about 2 years 10 months younger than me. The thing is last summer he told me that he'd fancied me since he was 8 and I was really flattered and realised I fancied him too, so I have kissed him secretly cos I'm afraid of what my friend would think and I wondering if he will be worried about that too or if he won't care and just won't ask me out cos he's using me now. I really have fallen for him, but I'm not sure how he definately feels about me now cos he never makes it clear - although when we get chance to we mess about but I can't help but feel used cos I'm not sure how he feels about me: is there any way I can find out for sure without being too obvious? Cos I'm shy.
(he's pretty straight with me about most things, but not about his feelings)

he is under age. have you thought of that you could get in a lot of trouble. give him a few years then see what you think. 14 is too young to know what you want

I think that you should not worry about what your friend thinks but what the authorities are going to do to you when you turn 18 and he is 15 even thou you are a girl and he is a boy it is still not right and the reason he can't tell you about his feelings is because he is very immature and any way why would you want a LITTLE boy leave him alone and find some one your own age

Ewww... How can you, a 17 year old young woman, like an immature 14 year old boy? That's so disgusting, you really need to find a guy your own age.
He is obviously just using you because all you two do is mess around. That's really pathetic that a youngin' is playing you. He is probably bragging to his friends about how he's bagging a 17 year old chick to his friends as I type this.

He's 14 love - let him grow up first without messing his head up with all that love and fancying crap. Go experiment with boys your own age and if the young guy feels the same when he's old enough he'll let ya know. You can get in trouble for doing stuff with a minor you know !! xx

leave him alone. guys mature more slowly than girls so the age difference is far more pronounced than you say. you are a yound adult - he is a child.. let him play football, meet up with his mates, be home by 10 or whatever time his mum says. you on the other hand should be talking to boys your own age or slightly older. if this CHILD is really meant to be the love of your life you will meet up with him again in 5-6 years time and it will just happen naturally without all this angst.

if you genuinely like him, then try and find out his feelings. but remember you don't want to upset your friend. age is a factor, but if you are serious about him, then go through with it.
don't listen to others . saying that the authorities will get you, do what you feel is right.
good luck.
