I am not sure if your Jeep is a 4 Wheel drive or not, but the first thing I would suspect is Universal joints. To do a proper checkout, you need to remove the driveshaft or driveshafts and pull the bearing cups off. Look at the surfact the berarings ride on, If you can see or feel any roughness on the surface, that is your root cause of the vibration. The reason it is worse starting out if because it takes lots of torque to get a standing load moving, it gets easier on the driveshaft at higher speeds. Good luck. By the way U joints are pretty inexpensive. If during your inspection you find they are ok, put some lube on them while they are apart. If this is not your problem, it might be the bushings in your transmission, which is a much more difficult problem to deal with.

Sounds like the front end. If you are accelerating as a fast pace in first gear the front end is lifting up slightly enough to let front stabilizing parts jiggle setting off a shaking motion. Try slowing down your take off. Check under the front end.

i own a repair shop,and it would help to know if its an automatic or standard shift,it can be to totally different things because of the difference in the transmissions,next time you ask a question try and tell us a little more about the vehicle,and we can better answer your question good luck.
