Of course not. The Mexican government only wants the US to open our borders so the corrupt officials in Mexico can receive even more financial benefit from US dollars. They do not want to share these dollars. I am sure they would tighten their southern borders to keep the Mexicans moving north, the US dollar moving south and stopping in Mexico.

Now that you've gave the opportunity to your countrymen to show all their prejudice I want to adress to you.
There is a myth in yahoo! answers that Mexico "don't want South Americans in Mexico" and "South Americans are trying to snick into Mexico" but "Mexico makes sure no South American will enter their country". First of all, South Americans (actually South and Central Americans because I know you think Central America is in South America) don't want to emmigrate to Mexico and I don't know why they would want, once that Mexico is not much richer than the other Latin American countries. Actually Mexico is the 4th in Latin America by GDP per capita. And the other countries are not much behind. The southern Mexican border is not so watched as you think. Actually the USA pressures Mexico to watch more its southern borthers because USA knows that many immigrants use Mexico as a half-way to the USA. If the souther border in Mexico is well watched (what is not) you should thanks them. And I would like also to say to you that during Guatemalan civil war (that ended in 1992), Mexico gave refuge to thousands of Guatemalans.

Mexico is he richest of the Latin American countries yet they spend 6% on education & 6% on health care and 46% of mexicans live in poverty. so why in the world would they be willing to open their borders and actually have to contribute to the good of their people. Do you all know they import 4000 guadamalian farm workers per year because they say mexicans are lazy & won't work! Of course, Americans, like their own government, know they are lazy and just come to work the system!

No they guard their southern border with automatic weapons and violence, they have far stricter laws on illegal and legal immigration.
Open borders will never happen .Don't ever in your wildest pro illegal dreams, think that it will.Legal and native born Americans will rise up en mass and put a stop to such idiocy. We are ready here in the southwest for any attempt to circumvent our freedom .It will NEVER happen.
Great link White ,thank you
This section really caught my eye
Foreigners may be barred from the country if their presence upsets "the equilibrium of the national demographics," when foreigners are deemed detrimental to "economic or national interests," when they do not behave like good citizens in their own country, when they have broken Mexican laws, and when "they are not found to be physically or mentally healthy." (Article 37)
I want that law in our policy.Dont you?

The pro-illegals should be thrown back over the fence too. And no, Mexico wouldn't want the garbage from their southern borders any more than we want theirs

Good question, but the answer is no. They are not willing to do that. In fact, you would be surprised how bad they treat the Indians, and Illegals that cross into their country from the south. Many of their southern illegals do not make it to a detention center. The jungles are full of their bones.

As we all know, Mexico has very tough immigration policies, in fact they score considerably higher than the United States in that regard ...mind you, we should be eternally grateful to them for protecting their southern border ... can you imagine the amount of illegals who would swarm through Mexico from the rest of the continent and up to the United States if they didn't?

Nope. Mexican companies and Gov. officials aren't asking them to come here unlike America does. Besides if that were to happen more people would be at the border of the U.S. and Mexico trying to come in. So consider it a favor my friend that Mexican officials are so strict on the border issue down there.

What it sounds like is 'north american union'...talk about your global megamergers...it's not just the pro-illegals, it's the big-wigs in biz-land who've decided it makes good business sense for them to oversee this unholy union...basically, in english, we're going to get screwed, and Mexico's going to get a free ride on us.
It won't quite be communism, but my feeling is, there's people out there that've basically decided that an independent United States isn't in their best interest anymore...I think they have oil money, too...like, a LOT of oil money...
