Absolutely not! You can be a wonderful, caring, compassionate human being if you're an atheist. I personally think that if you're an atheist, it means you have a hard time accepting things on faith, which is what most religions ask you to do. I think it's natural for people to have a hard time accepting things on faith. I'm not an atheist, but I do have a very hard time accepting some things about my church (The Mormon Church), but I don't really have the guts to say it's not true, even though I'm not sure I believe it. So I guess you could say that an atheist is more honest with himself (or herself) than people involved in religions who really don't believe in their religions!

I don't think there is anything wrong with atheists, and if God (if he exists) is really kind, loving, and UNDERSTANDING, I don't think he would think there's anything wrong with atheists either! I think these people who say you're going to hell if you don't absolutely believe in a certain religion are idiots! That's absolutely ridiculous! I do think atheist (or any other group) can be horrible human beings if they demand everybody else not to practice their own religion just because they don't believe in God, that's crap. As long as nobody is pushing their religion on you, then they should be able to practice however they want, even if you do happen to see someone praying or some sign for the religion or something, that doesn't mean their pushing their religion on you. Other than that, I think Atheist are great, very admirable people!

no on the contrary people who judge you in that way really are the ones with the problem ,,,,BUT also you must not belittle the way they believe either it is our right as humans to work through life and if being an athiest helps you in this life and you do no harm to anyone and try to be a decent person well no one has the right to judge for you what makes your life tick ...
one of my favorite sayings is "it is okay to be good ,but better to be good for something "

Being an atheist means *you* are responsible for being a good human being.

You need to have great inner strength to accept that your choices and the resultant actions are all in your hands.

What makes something perfect or worng? regularly its historic and modern-day societal standards.... and a few will argue the classes of particular religious texts. yet regularly - societal norms. The societal "norm" for the standard public of the international for the standard public of recorded history states that we would desire to consistently assume monogamy using fact the common. this would not propose there have been deviations from this "common", yet they're interior the minority and hence no longer the "norm" (i.e. Mormon polyamy, polygamy in particular islamic states / etc...) I won't even examine the object , on account which you will locate examine to safeguard regardless of element you attempt to tutor. One learn would not define what's or isn't appropriate. A correlation of many examine via extremely some scientists over the years does. Monogamy is what's estimated of society - so it, via definition, is what people are "meant" to be. If the winning societal norm became to kill any offspring after the 4th baby international to help administration the inhabitants boost - then which may be the "norm". (howdy do no longer laugh - there are human breeding classes in China and different species are robotically "culled" to administration wild inhabitants boost....) Does that propose that some in society does no longer adhere to the prepare? particular - yet might it disprove that it wasn't "meant" to be? probable no longer... i flow back to the element that what's "meant" to be is regardless of society usually accepts using fact the "norm" in the time of a vast spectrum of generations, cultures, and ideology. For the main area - meaning particular - people are "meant" to be monogomous creatures. regardless of if we are valuable at being monogamous has little or no to do with if its the way issues are "meant" to be.

If anything, I'd say it means you have a greater responsibility to be one. Without a moral and ethical context being proscribed, it's on you to decide how you want to treat the world. It's harder when nobody's giving you instructions.
