why have my video previews gone away?

i have windows xp sp2 and in my video folders the preview picture has gone away......please help me with this.....i use winamp for my media player and it just recently happened so i doubt that it is winamp

instal xnview as picture viewer its free:
www.xnview.com
for audio re install winamp also its free(old version).

by installing Winamp, you migth have selected "choose winamp as my default media player",in that case all your video folders are just in winamp library.

check it, and good luck.
