Turkey, ham, and crown roast of pork! Mom's even tried goose one year. But, it's definitely NOT a Christmas celebration without fried oysters and giftas (layer unsweetened whipped cream, whole cranberry jelly (best if freshly made from cranberries, water, and sugar), and finely ground graham crackers). Put that on top of an open faced, hot turkey sandwich the day after and...ooooo. Heaven.

Turkey's traditional, but if you're already having turkey for thanksgiving, your family might appreciate ham for a change.
Our family does turkey twice but we celebrate Canadian thanksgiving, which is in October, so we have more time between thanksgiving and christmas.

Have both...we usually have Black Forest ham, Smoked Turkey breast and Prime Rib for Christmas.

normally thanksgiving is turkey so ham is left for christmas but i love turkey more but ham is what we make due with lol brown sugar cinnamon ham

Honey Baked Ham and Roasted Turkey with sage and corn bread dressing and gravy..!!Yum and all the fixings...!! Having both gives everyone such a tasty and delicious variety...!!I cant wait...!! I love to cook these delicious dinners..!! The more that want to eat the better..!!
