seatbelts::?

hi,
i need some help finding out some BAD things about wearing a seat belt. i am writting an arguing essay about seat bellts. i know theres alot of good things about it but i cant really think of any bad things other than in some accidents it my look up.

BAD Things about wearing seatbelts......If you like hospital food, then you wouldn't get as much by wearing your seat belt. If you like being ejected from a car and having it land on top of you, then don't wear a seatbelt. If you like wrinkly clothes, then wear one. I've seen movies where people get trapped in their vehicles by wearing them, but have never heard of that happening in real life. I would think that the twisted metal of your car after an accident would be a greater risk to trapping you inside a car than a seatbelt would.

Sometimes in an accident the seat belt tightens so much that it has to be cut off. I think that would be very dangerous if the vehicle went on fire. The person would be trapped inside.

A seatbelt can squash your intestines in a crash. Causing you to use a colostomy bag for the rest of you life. They can also cause severe neck damage if not used correctly by a child. They can agitate various injuries to the abdomen. They can get stuck in a crash causing even more injuries from fire or water. They can get stuck and make you stay in a car for a week when help is only 50 feet away up a ravine.

They cause bruising across the chest and abdomen. In pediatric patients that are sitting up front not properly seated in a booster seat it can cause serious abdominal/diaphragm injuries. In the elderly it can cause cardiac contusions.

There are also issues with pregnant women wearing seatbelts.

Clearly the positive aspects far outweigh any negative for seatbelt use.
