Laila Ali is unquestionably the #1 Womens boxer. She is a Super Middleweight. Boxrec http://www.boxrec.com/ratings.php?nationality=&sex=F&division=Light+Heavyweight&status=A&SUBMIT=Go has her rated as a light heavyweight but Ali is the Super Middleweight Champ.
Ali beat the undefeated Jaqui Frazier who went on to fight a few years after she lost to Ali and Ali was Jaqui's ONLY loss.
Ali beat Mahfood for the title.
Some may say Ann Wolfe is better BUT Wolfe was KO'd by Mahfood!!!!
Laila Ali is UNDEFEATED at 22 - 0 with 19 KO's!!!! That says it all! Plus, Ali is only 28.

Laila is ranked as "World Champion" in the major women's boxing category. On November 11th she defends her WBC/WIBA tilte against very over-matched Shelly Burton.
Laila is a lot like her father in one respect, she likes to say "She's the Greatest!" , but the biggest difference between her and her father is, her father fought the very best of his era, Laila is blatantly ducking Anne Wolfe and Leticia Robinson, two female fighters that would definitely knock her out. Laila likes to spout off "Every body claims they want to fight me, but when the contract is on the table, they all run scared." The do run, but it's nit because they're scared, it because Laila thinks that she's entitled to 70% of the money plus part of the gate.
"She be stinging" alright, every fighter that can knock her out.

Go back to answering question about Husband issues and Do the people you hang out with determine your sexuality? and Birth Control, it takes a lot more to know about boxing than watching a commercial and gooogeling a persons name. Did you know that Laila was suppose to fight Leticia Robinson and after she watched Leticia destroy her opponent she withdrew the contract? Did you also know that when Anne Wolfe lost that fight she was sleeping in her car because she was homeless and only ate one meal a day from a homeless shelter?
