As a proud kilt wearing Scotsman I wonder how people outside of Scotland perceive our national dress.

not only are kilts sexy but they show your national pride. wear them with honor and please, please, please tell me you wear nothing underneath.

I used to think they were funny but now that I'm older and wiser, I actually think they are quite nice. I like it when I go to international conventions and people bother to show pride for their countries and dress in their national costumes. The Scotsmen usually stand out of the crowd (maybe because everyone is trying to see if they are wearing anything under the kilt).
The only male national costume that I think looks better is the relatively new Icelandic costume but I admit I might be a little biased in that opinion.

I think its great that people are proud enough of their heritage and culture to wear national dress. I also think guys in kilts are sexy.

As an Enlgish woman, I can honestly say that men in dress kilts, with sporran, socks and shiny shoes are a very attractive sight.

nothing sexier than a group of men in kilts, and that doesn't matter what shape or size they are, i think it's because they are wearing it with pride, england really doesnt' have such a dress, and i think it's a shame, the closest we get is black tie i suppose, and i think that looks good on a man too

I think it's a unique part of your culture. Every country has traditional dress and I like Scotland's.

I think its a good thing. More power to you for embracing your heritage brother. Me being over here in America, didnt grow up wearing that and it wasnt part of my culture, so I wouldnt wear one.
