Yep. Aside from practitioners I know...I know a couple who are Christian missionaries in Africa, and have witnessed "zombies" there. (Given their status, I'd say that's a pretty reliable source.) Apparently it's an odd sort of poison to the nervous system that allows a person to remain alive and responsice but with no will of their own. Fortunately, most practitioners of voodoo shun such things--very bad magic.

Voodoo also known as Santeria are real. They are religious believes that originate in Africa. They exist like Christianity and Islam exist.
However, I do not believe that Santeria or Voodoo priests can raise the dead. The zombie stories from Haiti were mainly about people who were seriously brain damaged and behaved in strange ways. They were not really dead.

I heard that zombies are made by drugging a person so they
appear to be dead. Then the witch doctor hurries and digs the
man up, and keeps him drugged and in slavery.
We do have a spirit in us though, that is a very powerful being.
We can use that power to injure, or to heal.

Real in the sense that people practise and believe in them, yes. Real in the sense that they have any effects beyond the usual psychological ones, no.

They are real in that there are many people who practice both. The perceptions of them are twisted in pop culture, though.

They are both witchcraft and their power is in the minds of the believers. Neither have power of Jesus Christ or the believer in Christ because Jesus has power over the devil.
