an american can travel into spain with american passport for 90days but after that what visa do they need to fill out to stay there???? any ppl in spain please advise if poss.???

Here is the basic information:

SPAIN - *Passport required. Visa not required for tourist or business stays up to 90 days. (**90-day period begins when entering Schengen countries). U.S. medical report required for residency, student, and work permits. YOU NEED TO HAVE YOUR VISA IN PLACE AS YOUR NOT AN EU STATE GOTO THE AMERICAN EMBASSY AND APPLY WHEN YOUR 90 DAYS ARE NEARLY UP REAPPLY IN SPAIN BUT DO IT BEFORE THE 90 DAYS OR YOU WILL HAVE TO LEAVE
