I have unwanted icons from previously removed programs that will not disappear.

Go to start-run, type msconfig into the box. Click the startup tab-uncheck which ones you do not want to start when you start windows. They will be deleted from your taskbar..good luck..

click on start, then click on control panel, click on appearance and themes, and it will show you the bar to be adjusted. change it click apply and ok and come out of it

Right click on them and click remove. that should sort it.

start,all programs startup delete everything there turn your messengers off from starting on startup
