I totally agree with you in the first part of your statement, that Christians today want to nullify God's laws, and seem often to take the attitude, 'just sin, don't worry about it because God will just forgive you.' That is a terrible attitude and a shame to Jesus Christ. Hebrews 10 deals with that: 26 "For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a terrifying expectation of judgment and THE FURY OF A FIRE WHICH WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES. 28 Anyone who has set aside the Law of Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said, "VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY."
The second part I am not sure where you are comming from. Are you suggesting a return to the death penalty for adulty and the likes? Jesus dealing with the woman taken in adultry let her go free and kind of sets a precedent that the harshness of the law has been tempered by the love of Christ and although the sin is not at all acceptable, mercy with intent to repentance should be the approach in the age of grace.

Whoa! Where is this coming from?
The New Testament changed all things, and socially things have changed. We are under the authority of the laws in place - those are Jesus' words.
I don't know if you are serious or not but the problem in those days was... there were no law agencies, no jails... people had to handle problems this way. You are talking about 2,500+ years ago. Obviously those sysytems are now in place and we have to respect and abide by them.

First of all, God's Kingdom has not been set up on the earth, except, in ones hearts.
Are you a king? Do you have dominon over souls? Do you have a kingdom where you can impose those "God's Laws" you are so wanting to impose?
I believe you are decieved yourself. For Christ said on these two laws hangs all the Law and the prophets: LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR MIND AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH AND THE SECOND IS LIKE UNTO IT - LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.
So where does your two laws fit into that? - they don't!
If you loved like that you would be discipling the world and winining the world to Christ, not hollering that we "fellow true christians" should impose laws on the unlawful,
Oh by the way just to let you know - I am a pastor.

He also showed mercy to Mary Magdeline and seperated himself from secular invokations of the "law".
Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's and render unto the Lord what is the Lord's.
Deuteronomy is in the Old Testament and should therefore be null when talking about the new covenant, which is different from most because it is beset in a time when terrible atrocities were used to punish menial crimes, and it preached "turning the other cheek".

The question is clearly Christian Reconstructionist
(DOMINIONIST) in intent. Google these terms to
learn more.
What, out of the many Christian Religions and more than a thousand Christian sects, is true
Christianity?
Of course, the one the questioner believes in, NO?
....and all others be damned?

I think you should re-read John 10 and not only focus on verse 35; I believe you are taking it out of context or not completely understanding what Jesus is trying to ask them.

We are not under the dispensation of the law, but under the dispensation of grace. What we need is not more laws, but more mercy, grace and forgiveness. This means that we need to learn to love in the way that Jesus loves. Putting society back under the law is not love, but tyranny. We do not need to live in a theocracy like the Iranians do.

when Jesus lived among the people, physically, He did not encourage for them to take up arms and force others to follow Him.
When he was being taken away, he did not order his followers to attack the soldiers and kill them, so he may be freed of there hold.
He wants peace.
To do things out of any other feeling is to be a Hyprocrite and to do so in his name, is to be in a more worse position then the devil itself.

you have got to be kidding me. A man who rapes a women needs to be thrown in jail and kept there for a long time. Also we do not stone someone to death just because of their lifestyles. Is your question serious or is this a joke because this is completely sick. It sounds like you are a westboro church believer.

I can't believe you've actually got so many people believing you're for real....
Between this question and your last, I would have thought most of them would have you tagged by now.
I guess it just goes to show how little most folks actually know about Christianity...including most self-proclaimed "Christians"......
Oh, by the way, did you know, you are fulfilling prophecy with these rants?
Carry on......
