Most Christians don't understand that in order to be a Baha'i, one must accept Christ as a Manifestation of God Himself. If one does not accept Christ as God made manifest, they can never be a true Baha'i. When I became a Baha'i most of my Christian family members thought I was rejecting Christ. SOOOOO far from the truth were they!!!!! My love for Christ grew to a depth I cannot describe with language - the life He lived, the suffering He suffered, the guidance He gave and continues to give even today.

Christ told us He had more to tell, but 2000 years ago humanity couldn't bear it. Christ told us He would come again and to be watchful. Christ told us He is the Word. The Bible tells us that when He returned He would have a new name and it would be "the Glory of the Lord".

It is Christ, Himself that is leading you to Baha'u'llah (which translates to "the Glory of God") just as He led me. Praised be to God, the Lord of all the worlds!

A christian faith is that Jesus is the second person of the Holy Trinity, the Son of God, and not just a Prophet, not some holy man, the incarnate Word of God.
do followers of Baha`i religion believe this as revealed truth? if not, then a believing Christian will find no comfort there due to opposing beliefs.

I am not very much familiar with Baha'i belief, but for me it's not possible. This is just like you have two husbands or wives, you could not be faithful to both othewise leave the other. You cannot serve two gods.Learn more and observe, ask your heart and your mind, your heart will guide you, your mind will clear the way for you to see which way you should follow.Pray to God .He is the only one who knows the best for you.

The only conflict I can see is Bahaullah and Jesus vying for the same position as a prophesied messiah. If you can find your own way to resolve that, I wouldn't see why not. Otherwise they're not terribly far off.

The Bahais will likely accept you, but many Christians won't.
