The last of prophets in the order of time was Malachias.

Latin Vulgate
Douay-Rheims Bible

Second Epistle Of Saint Peter
Chapter 2

1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there shall be among you lying teachers, who shall bring in sects of perdition, and deny the Lord who bought them: bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their riotousnesses, through whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you. Whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their perdition slumbereth not. 4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but delivered them, drawn down by infernal ropes to the lower hell, unto torments, to be reserved unto judgment

11 Whereas angels who are greater in strength and power, bring not against themselves a railing judgment. 12 But these men, as irrational beasts, naturally tending to the snare and to destruction, blaspheming those things which they know not, shall perish in their corruption, 13 Receiving the reward of their injustice, counting for a pleasure the delights of a day: stains and spots, sporting themselves to excess, rioting in their feasts with you: 14 Having eyes full of adultery and of sin that ceaseth not: alluring unstable souls, having their heart exercised with covetousness, children of malediction

I was prayed over by a prophet. What he prayed manifested itself in my live 7 years later.
Texarkana, Arkansas
Church on the Rock
1999
He prophesied there would be restoration in my family.
Today I enjoy the company and love of my 2 daughters, their husbands, and ,of course, my grandchildren!
He prophesied I would bring lots of souls to the Lord.
I do this, but not to the extent I believe the Lord means. So, I'm anxiously awaiting for God's time.

A TRUE Prophet of God is called of God and answers to God, he hears and what he hears he must proclaim, or be held accountable for not speaking the words God has told him to utter. He says thus saith the LORD!

A true prophet will always be 100 percent accurate all the time, no misses, no half misses either. He is deadly accurate or the people are called to stone him for he is a false prophet.

a false prophet may get right sometimes more often than not, but he is not 100% accurate every time.

A New Testament prophet when prophesying to a Christain should provide only words of exortation, edification and comfort to him.(1 Cor 14:3). For God will not condemn those who are in Christ Jesus (Rom 8:1). All Christians have the Holy Spirit in them to bear witness with their spirits (Rom 8:16). If you received a true word of prohesy you will have a witness in your spirit given by the Holy Spirit. If you do not have that inner witness do not accept the prophecy. I trust you are blessed by this.

A true prophet is one whom speaks the truth out of a true heart.

One whom speaks to the few and not aloud to the mass in a large area for all to see.

Those whom speak without fear.

Whom speak with love. and peace.

Not with anger or frustration.

All whom do good , without being seen by the many.

One whom does kind acts for all who ask for it of them.

Those who see and not force there sight upon another.

But see truth for what it is and moves on to see more.

He who speaks from love to love.

One whom rests in the peacefull silence of the world.

There are many prophets, yet they will not be reconized as so, nor will they ever be.

Instead they are thrown in the same pit of negative lashes that Jesus himself was put in.

Yet at the same time, will not fear to be so. For knowing what they see , is Light. And in the darkest hour, there sight brings its warmth forth , and surrounds them with peace.

Therefore Any One whom claims aloud or quietly ," I am a Prophet." prooves already that they are Not. For by declairing such , is to Fear that one 's self is not.

Where there is doubt, there is fear, where there is fear, love is not near.

love is god, and god is love, fear can not exist within love, nor does it exist within god.

Why dont you read the bible. a prophet is only there to confirm what God told you. I understand that people do not want to hear bad things, who wants death and rain for decades called on their life?

God doesn't send prophets anymore. The muslims think what's face was a prophet, but Jesus Christ is the Son of God, so why would God send somebody else when Jesus done it all!! The answer is He wouldn't. Jesus Christ said to beware of FALSE prophets because He knew they would come, and they did and they have and there are some still yet to come.

A prophet of God will always glorify God, and never him/herself.
Which definitely eliminates Muhammed...and most of the "anointed ones" (egad!) strutting around on television....
