Yes thanks for answering, you're right... and I just bought a great chocolate cake from Tesco. I think I'll have to start reading the labels more.

Nuts are one of the most severe allergies. You could have a Anaphylaxis attack, which could cost you your life. Allergy symptoms include swelling of the throat, mouth and eyes, fast heart rate and vomiting.

If you do have a Anaphylaxis attack, go to the hospital asap! You can get adrenaline injections like Epipen on prescription, which would slow down the reaction.

the boy across the street from us will go into severe allergic reaction if he eats something that was made where peanuts are processed. thus, warnings have gone to the extreme on labels, even to the point of identifying the above case. yes, if the allergy is sever, even the smallest trace can be highly dangerous. i would find out how strong your allergy is, and the doctor will advise you what level of caution to take regarding nut intake.

YES, if you're allergic you can have a reaction even if it's just a trace. Stay away from anything that contains nuts.

Yes, anything that contains nuts will turn into a rash or a bad affection. So just stay safe and dont eat the cake, I think it will be better for your body.

Yes, traces of nut can cause a reaction. Don't eat it if you're allergic.

It depends on how bad your allergy is- If you are severely allergic, I wouldn't eat anything I thought had nuts in it; but if your allergy isn't not that bad, then I would still eat some foods. For example, I am allergic to cow's milk, but since my allergy isn't that bad, I still eat some dairy like yogurt and cheese. I just don't drink milk by itself.

oh yes it can..even a little trace can be fatal for some people so you better stay away from it. There are people who can have severe reactions even with small traces.

It really depends on how allergic you are.

Some people can tolerate small traces of nuts that could occur in food. While others can have reaction from the tiniest amounts.

You should probably consult your doctor.

I wouldn't do it personally, even traces of nuts have caused reactions in many people.

i would tend to stay clear if you have had any reaction before. If you eat any nuts again it could cause a more severe reaction and you could end up in hosptial.
