Dont use frontline on the pups, it can be dangerous to them. Use a quality anti flea shamppo and check that it is OK for puppies.
I would say to continue to use frontline on the adult animals, but instead of treating all animals treat 1 dog and 2 cats. The reason for this is that teh fleas are likely to move between animals and thus eventually hit the treated one. Its better for the animals in the long run (rotate who gets the treatment!) and works out much cheaper. Dont forget to wash the bedding and spray carpets furniture etc where the animals lay.
As a prevention, give the animals garlic capsules or buy some garlic juice (Dorwest Herbs sell it) and put it in their drinking water. The fleas hate the smell of garlic and will keep away.

First of all, make sure you pups are old enough to even use Frontline or any other flea product on them. Check with different vets about their pricing on Frontline. Since it's an over the counter (OTC) product, you do not need a prescription, so you should have no problem in purchasing it from any veterinarian. As a convenience to our clients, our office sells the product by the application. We dispense it in a vial with a prescription label on it with directions. There are three applications to a box. If you can find a vet who also does this, it will be only 1/3rd of the price than paying for an entire box.
Good luck!

I have a ritual everyday with my 3 little dogs. They are checked all over for fleas and I take a cup with bleach and drop the fleas in the cup. This kills the fleas instantly. When it comes to bath time Dawn dish washing detergent is the best you can use to kill the ticks and fleas. It works better than any flea and tick shampoo you can buy. My dogs are house dogs and do not go out, they use the puppy pads, but fleas can be brought into your home on your own clothing from out in the yard. Some dogs have a reaction to flea bites and it causes irritation to their skin. As reported, Front-line is very good.

They sell a flea and tick dip in the grocery stores. You give them a bath and that stuff is added to the bath water. I know cats hate water so the only thing I do with my cat is buy a product for the garden called Sevan. It is a powder and it won't harm the pets even if they lick it. You can use it for the dogs too. Or you can get the powder for cats and the one for dogs that is called flea and tick powder and sprinkle it on and rub their fur to get it near the skin. All of this won't harm them. It is all found at the grocery stores and not that expensive.Flea collars don't work. At least I never had any luck with them. You can use the powders in their beds too.

Pups have to be 12 weeks before treatment. Sometimes cheaper ones are false economy - ive found frontline is the one that works. xx

The cheaper stuff really doesn't work, so you will just be wasting your money!
Although Frontline is expensive it does work. Try www.hyperdrug.com they sell frontline very cheaply and it only takes a couple of days to arrive - i've saved a fortune by using them.

The only answer is Frontline I'm afraid! Yes it is expensive, but it does actually work! Not like the rubbish they sell in pet shops.
