If you try calling different vets and some will do a payment plan try explaining your situation. Also if you find a company that runs on donations they or someone else might no of a place that helps people who can't afford to help there animal. They could give you numbers to places that can help. Even a church or humanes society,or a animal rescue sometime those places only charge for the cost of the medication so it won't cost you an arm n a leg lol Hope that helps a little.

(1) Pawn anything you can to raise the money
(2) Get a payday advance loan - roll it over if you must and live with the interest
(3) Go get a job or get a 2nd job
(4) Work out a payment plan with the vet
(5) Cancel the internet and use that money to help pay the bill (plus no McDonalds, no renting movies, no pop and snacks at the convenience store...)
(5) Still no money - contact the local humane society. You may have to give her up.
NOT GETTING HER MEDICAL CARE IS NOT AN OPTION
In most states it is a CRIME to fail to get an animal needed medical attention when ill - lack of money is not an excuse. The courts' view is that then you should have turned her over to the Humand Society if you couldn't care for her
It is called "ABUSE AND NEGLECT" and you can go to jail.

This will sound cruel, you have had a dog that has been sick for 4 MONTHS. That is beyond inhumane!!!
It can not just walk into the vets office and say I am sick. Its life is in your hands, you may be slowly letting your dog die, or it could be something really minor that can be fixed with a $8.00 bottle of meds.
LOL, what is wrong with you, give the dog to a no kill shelter, where it can be treated and given to a family or individual that will be able to care for it. I understand the lack of money situation, really I do....but this animal is your responsibility.

I'm sure if you talk to your vet and tell him your concerns he may come up with some sort of payment options for you.If your vet doesn't want to do that ,call around to all vets that will let you. There's no way to really tell what's wrong with this dog unless he's seen by a vet.Another option may be low cost clinics in your area. There's pet insurance to that would pay for part of the vet fee. Maybe look into that.I'm sorry this is happening.

Ok everyone relax, even poor people have the right to own a dog. Instead here's some ideas.
Most vets have a payment option
You can take it to the SPCA,but not to give away! take your dog there explain whats going on with your dog. They will often just ask for a donation or will work with a small percent on your income,if your are a low income family.
Like someone mentioned here, remove internet = pay vet bill.
Go without something in your life ie: smokes, or only pay half your bills that month.
Do you have anything you can Pawn? at a Pawn shop ie: Rings, sterio, speakers,CD's anything.....

I haven't had time to read all of the answers, but I agree with the ones I have read. If you don't have the money for vet bills, you do not need to have a pet, period. If you are not willing to make sacrifices for your pet, you do not need a pet, period.
Get a cash advace on your pay check, borrow the money, sell your freakin' plasma if you have to-just get that poor dog to the vet.

call the vet anyway, they sometimes take payments or you can work for the payment, if this is not an option take your dog to a no - kill shelter. Honestly this should have been done 4 months ago.

if you love your dog you will give him to the rspca or the equivalent service wherever you are,its obvious you cant care for your poor dog. or if you dont want to do that then find a way to get $35 dollars to get your dog looked at by a vet! it angers me people do this!you should have taken this all into consideration when getting your dog!

Your dog may have diabetes. I have to agree what others have said--give your dog to a shelter that will do a better job of caring for it than you can.

Give up your internet. One month's bill alone will get the medical attention your dog needs.
