Hi everyone
I found a good alternative to follow the diet for longer time and not get bored eating cereal. earlier, I did it will cereal and got bored.
So, coming back, the way is that you login and get your special plan according to your needs (calories you want to intake and veg/non-veg, 2 week or longer)
then, you will get 5 meals- 2 mainly kellogs with fruits, 1 proper meal and 2 filling snacks.
instead of having kellogs, replace the 2 kellogs meals with the healthy snacks they suggest. it works... you wont feel hungry.
Also, try having a bowl of fruit, salad and liquids like lemonade, green tea, coffee with less sugar, buttermilk (salty) or yougurts if you feel hungry in btw.
And do have what you feel like once in a while.. like once a week...
After achieving the goal weight, just keep serving size in check and replace any one meal with some healthy option like milk and fruits/ sprouts/ salad and yogurt.
Hope this helps!!

It is simply a matter of calories -
Eating 2 1c servings of cereal will considerably cut the calories that you are eating ... thus you lose weight
It will work if you measure and eat A SINGLE serving of cereal at each meal - The pro is that you will lose weight
The cons are that you gain it back as soon as you stop becuse you have never learned to change the habits that have caused you to gain weight. To lose weight permanatly, you need to change your eating and exercise habits -- PERIOD
1. exercise a minimum of 3 days a week
2. Eat a 3 fruit servings and 4 veggie servings a day
3. limit intake of processed foods
4. limit intake of sodas and coffee
5. drink a minimum of 64 oz of water a day
6. eat breakfast
7. never eat in front of the TV or computer (this leads to the mindless consumption of unnecessary calories)
8. Eat when you are hungry and stop when you are full

Any diet that restricts calories will "work", but the Kelloggs challenge is basically telling people to eat bread & milk for 2 meals and then pick a third on their own.
What kind of nutrition is that???
BTW, do you know why you have to pick your own third meal? So in case anyone gets sick or has a medical emergency they can say it must have been the third meal that caused it.
That's why Slim Fast also tells you to pick your own third meal.
If you're going to do the Kellogg's challenge, buy a measuring cup so you can see what you're eating. Look at the box for what an actual serving size is -- it's small, believe me! You also need to measure the milk and skip sugar.

Yes it does work. The kelloggs diet is limiting the amount of calories you take in therefore causing weight loss. For short term this diet is fine. But long term you may not get enough vitamins. But if you eat fruits and veggies for snacks it should be fine.
