Even now, Jesus is not respected. For most respect his Image more then they do Him. For if they respected Him, then there would be a society of acceptance instead of fear and anger.
He was not respected by his own society when he walked physically on earth, and he still is not being so.
If he was being respected, then those whom go to church (and judge others for not going) would realize that by judging others they judge Jesus.
For he is them, and They are Him.
The real test of Faith, is how one from church treats those whom do Not . And how they treat those whom do deeds of evil.
For how can they be the followers of Jesus , if they do not respect Him enough to respect those whom need him most?

To begin with, Jesus didn't win our respect because of the garment, accessories or facial expression He chose to wear. We respect and adore Him because of His selfless acts of love for all of us.

i don't think so, because even if he introduced himself as the messiah, the jews still killed him. they didn't want to receive the spiritual component...so much so today. people are still waiting for the messiah, well in fact he has come in a manner that we do not expect.. HE IS HERE among us. to find him, one must seek Him.
