I do not think that my state is. Michigan. I was married to a man from another country. When our divorce was finalized, his work permit and so on , became invalid due to the fact that his visa had expired in '99 (this was in 2002). When he came to visit our daughter, he was intoxicated. I called the police and when they came , I told them that he was an illegal immigrant. They called immigration in Detroit and they said to go ahead and let him go because it was the day after Christmas and they didn't have anyone to make the hour drive to our city jail to pick him up. So they let him go. How ridiculous. And also, they don't make him pay child support because " he does not have a valid work permit".. Well.. that means that he is ILLEGAL... Send him back home to Morocco!! Michigan is not doing it's part.

My state is doing its best to make things not so easy for the illegal.Arizona is offering many new state laws and city ordnance's to wards that goal.I saw yesterday that North Carolina will not allow illegals to obtain drivers license and will allow its police officers to check your immigration status.I'm sure there are many things going on in some states. In Phoenix there are 45 law enforcement positions open judges etc,and the voters ballot will be the largest in the history of Maricopa county.
Many states are offering propositions to help curb the impact of the illegal alien on their city and states.
We must become active in this process.Help your city and state help you .

Renegade gave you a link but personally, I don't think they are doing enough. We are infested with illegal Mexicans. It's impossible to go anywhere without seeing hordes of them.

No. The judges are setting them free with no fines and the local police are told that they can't arrest them. It must be nice having immunity from the law.
