I think we should not ask. Asking means, we do suspect God's intelligence that He does not know what we need!!

If we look back carefully, God had been providing, what we needed.

We rather disturbed his plans by asking our egoistic demands

Provide what? Even when I believed, my prayers were never answered. And I have been through many trials since becoming a non-believer and I've done fine.

I believe God gives us the tools for a good and righteous life. And we humans are supposed to use them and finish the job of making a good and righteous life a reality.

I see God as being part of me, and all of us being part of God. When you have a strong faith and are connected to God, you will go through life happy and in peace. If God arranges for lemons, make lemonade. If God sends you wealth (in any form), share it.

Yes, during a test if you ask for help GOD will provide it.

Yes. Although the answer will not always be the one you want or are looking for. Trust Him to do what is best for you. Continue to sing his praises. Trials may be smoothing your rough edges to create the perfect gem for heaven.

No I don't. For some people life is just harsh and it's far healthier if they came to terms with it rather than imagining a deity will make things easier.

Yes, He does. It may not be the answer I was wanting, but I do not always know what's BEST for me, but God sure does!

Yes and No.
I agree with the sentence without the phrase 'in this life'. Allah will provide for anything if we but ask, but not necessarily in this life, even when what you are asking for seems reasonable and charitable enough for you.
Allah teaches us that when we ask for something, what happens is either one of three scenarios:
1. the prayer is answered and you are granted what you ask for
2. something bad that was to happen to you does not befall you in replacement to the good you asked for
3. that good you asked for is saved for you till the after life

So you know that either the prayer is answered or not, it is granted.

What I always do when I ask Allah for things is that I add 'if this is in my best interest'. You know sometimes we ask for things thinking they are good for us and we have them they turn not to be.

Allah knows best
Peace
