am taking Lexapro daily and taking lunesta for sleep is this safe to take together

hopefully these medications are being prescribed and monitored by a psychiatrist. i say psychiatrist because he/she is the pro when it comes to interaction between durgs.
to answer your question, this combination of drugs is safe. you're taking an anti-depressant and a sleeping pill. However, i wouldn't use the lunesta for an extended period of time as it can be habit forming (pyschological dependence). if you're having trouble sleeping, ask your doctor for an additional anti-depressant called TRAZODONE. it's not habit forming and it works wonders.
i know of which i write because i'm taking three anti-depressants
(all prescribed by my psychiatrist: zoloft, wellbutrin, and trazodone).

There my be a side effect of dry mouth but other than that it should be alright.

I just looked those up in my pill book, and yes, they are a compatible pill.
