I wrote last night about a question reffering to the Bible and how we know it is truth. However, what I was really looking for were Bible scriptures of prophesies that have come true (ie. jesus born in bethlehem to a virgin etc.) But I was also looking for scriptures that correspond with today in the world.
I have not read the whole bible yet and I am not sure where it is I should look. Please help me. It is for a youth sermon in a couple of weeks. Thank you.
If you are going to answer I would prefer that you actually give me information I could use. If you don't think the Bible is true then don't answer. Thank you for your time. =)

Start in the old testament, all the things that said would happened came true, as for present day, it was said Jesus would ,(in the OT) that a savior would come, he did. There is a site bible.com.. this site maybe able to help you with scripture and also I beleive has information dealing with children that can help you.

We know the Bible is true by having a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, and then receiving the Holy Spirit of God within us to guide us daily.

Is the Bible true ?
I, for one, don't think so ( no offend to the Christians) ..
It's because there are so much discrepancies in the Bible, too much that makes me wonder whether it's been that way when it was sent down or was it doctored by somebody ..

You can't write a book predicting things, then write the sequel saying it all came true.
ie. jesus born in bethlehem to a virgin etc. Have you got a birth certificate? medical records?
I have answered, because to not do so would be to open you up to looking rather foolish.
