i am an contractor working in holland, and wont to know if amybody knows of an insurance i can take out to cover my income, for example if i break my arm or have an accident and cant work for a while

You are talking about Disability Insurance sometimes referred to as Income Insurance. If you were her in the states, that would be easy. I do not have any resources out of the US. Sorry and good luck.

Yes, you can take out personal health insurance which covers you against such accidents which prevent you working for any period of time, the Insurance company pays you out while you are off work.

There is a disability insurance - a great thing for someone in your line of work.
Check with local insurance brokers for guidance. Get several quotes!!!!

Since you are a contractor, (I am assuming from the US?) AFLAC will be your best bet. Don't laugh until you check it out. Aflac covers those types of things..... and pays you for each day your out!
