You can't prove it but you can use reason and logic. The only reason I believe it isn't just my imagination is the enormous amount of detail of everything around you. Just take a look at everything you can see right now, the form, the texture, the colours, tiny little scratches or blemishes on surfaces, all the wrinkles on the palm of your hand, you would need one hell of an imagination to see all these things so clearly and to remember them the next time you looked at them.
Also why would anyone work in a crappy job when they could imagine themselves doing something more exciting.
Come to think of it why am I sat here in front of a computer when I could be doing unspeakable things with Beyonce. Now thats got my imagination working.

Shared experience.
You'll probably say that THAT could be imagined, but I'm sure we both realistically see that, for example, Embrace is a seriously overrated band.
I did NOT imagine that....

Zhuangzi ï¼ 369 B.C.ï¼286 B.C.ï¼, is a famous chinese philosopher. He often expressed his ideas in the form of fables such as his dream as a butterfly.
After his dream as a butterfly, he could't distinguish if he was a butterfly or a man.
A butterfly is dreaming as me?
I am dreaming as a butterfly?
that is a question!

You can't, but I would suggest that you don't try and demonstrate this by walking in front of a bus, the 'I refute it thus' argument.
