The Bible is the True Word of God.

It's the same thing. The Bible simply reflects the teaching of the Church which compiled it. Also, the Bible tells us that the Church is "the pillar and foundation of truth", and that whatsoever the Church binds upon earth is bound in heaven. So, if you don't listen to the Church you are not following the Bible. Curious, isn't it, that those who claim to follow "only the Bible" are in a state of doctrinal chaos - thousands of conflicting manmade denominations, unable to agree on what constitutes the truth. While the Church which teaches with full authority, using the Bible as it was meant to be used, has 2,000 years of unity in teaching, unity in belief, unity in worship.

I believe the bible to be a diary of Jesus life told by many different people whom met him....

As with Chinese whispers i also believe peoples accounts ect have been changed.

So yes a prophet did come to earth and did do miracles but what we read and the church follows today is this the true story ?

Or just chinese whispers which has grown huge in the last 2000yrs ??????

The bible comes first as it is the true word of God. But you have to remember the old testament rules/laws became outdated when Christ came. And just because men wrote the bible do not let that fool you, God spoke through them. Since my church teaches the bible I can believe them. Good question!

People, if you are answering "neither" then WHY do you go to church? If you don't go to church then YOU SHOULDN'T BE ANSWERING THIS QUESTION. The question is do you believe in YOUR church or the Bible?

"Both" is the obvious true answer. No one is going to call a church their own if they feel it contradicts the Bible.

If your choices are limited, say you live in a town with only one church, I'd bet that every person would choose the Bible.

Both. Read your Bible and follow church guidelines, if there is a difference or appears to be a conflict ask the church for a reason.
They will be quite used to people asking them this sort of question.

I believe in the Earth as a being, as a church, as the word of God. She is not too happy with us these days! The wrath of God always seems to be executed by Nature's forces, why listen to man's interpretation rather than the original messenger of the heavens?

my church teaches the Bible
if i found myself in a church that taught different from the Word, i would find one that did.
you must read and study the Bible for yourself, pray over your study time and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you.
if you have that little nagging feeling deep inside (often called a "hunch") that your church is off base......find another church.
the Holy Spirit will guide you.

well i believe in both..because they both helps you through your life...
Churches are there to help others from the inspire of the holy bible and so they are connected...
you can believe in both you know..because they are connected somehow..
if two or more prayed for Jesus..then He will be there(read the bible),and the church is like that with more than two people..
the church helps others to understand the bilble and so to help them with their faith...
so if they are connected..then why to seperate them..??!!

I believe my Tanakh (what you call the OT) gives as accurate of a history of G-d and my people as was possible at the time. The history continues today.
