My daughter, 13 months old, has had a fever the past 4 days. The fever is gone now but today she has a rash all over her chest and back, not her legs or arms. It doesnt seem to bother her at all. Lots of tiny pink bumps. I cant find anything on webmd and the dr isnt open till tomorrow morning. Any ideas?

If it started on her face and traveled south on her body, look up Fifth's disease. My son had this when he was 2.

Other than that, I wouldn't worry about the rash as long as it goes away after a day or two and it doesn't itch real bad.

Sounds roseiola. I know that is not how it is spelled. My kids had it too. My kids are older but the doctors never did anything for it. Just keep her comfortable. Put desitin on it and give her motrin to keep the fever down. It will 7-10 days to run its coarse. Lots of loving and sympathy will go a long way.

Balmex. It's a remedy for any kind of rash, burn, cut, sore, etc. I'm not sure what the healing properties in it are, but it really works. I burned my arm on the iron and a co-worker told me to use it, and there is no evidence that I was even burned. I live by it now.

Hope this helps...

Sounds like measles...keep her in a darkened room...measles can affect their eyes. Keep her hydrated and take her to the doctor when you can.
