Well I know that a large portion of ppl consume both coffee and cigarettes, sadly I've been one of them.
What someone once said to me stuck in my head that if you relate either to say stress with cigarettes and alertness with caffeine in coffee it work exponentially. For example you are feeling stressed and you smoke, you are feeling sleepy before work and you have coffee. Then next time it is more and more hence becoming more stressed and drowzier and maybe more irratable each time lol.
I never thought that I'd be dependent on either or loose my attention span for almost everything. I wonder do anyone else have a similar problem to share with me...?
Disfunction of the mind I call it to best describe... my vocabulary isn't that large lol, when I sleep definitions of objects and words are wrong is that wires in my brain crossed? When I act normal for a good period and then have a subconcious doppleganger step in in frustration to screw up my life and spent the rest of the day
:( ?

My Mother was a lover of coffee and cigarettes. She died last year from lung cancer. Ugly, ugly death. She finallyl quit smoking 2 days before she died. . . . only because she was unable to unhook herself from the oxygen machine and go outside so she wouldn't blow us all up!

Coffee in moderation is one thing. 2 cigarettes a day is one thing. Doing it all day long, is a death sentence. The symptoms you stated are just the beginning.

Nicotine and Caffeine are both stimulants.

People say they get relaxed when they smoke, but what it does is increase your blood pressure and heart rate; it's doesn't relax the body, if anything it stresses it out more. The mind thinks it is relaxing. (mind over matter)

side note: notice how some people say "I only smoke when I drink"? Alcohol is a depressant, nicotine is a stimulant... kinda cancel each other out, don't you think? :)

I'm not trying to knock smokers. I've had a few cigarettes in the past. I just wanted to let you know what I have learned in school.

Generally the reason smokers relax when they smoke is because they're getting the nicotine they're addicted to.
