No, masturbation is not bad for you. The stories that you hear are just that, stories. Masturbation is a natural and normal way of exploring your own body.
If someone does it for you the difference is that it will help build a very trusting and happy sexual relationship.
I think I need to point out that before you have any kind of sexual contact with another person or vice versa, there is the Law and 'Age of Consent' to be considered. Check the law if you are under 16 in UK.

Hey,
Most often premature ejaculation occurs in younger men, but it can affect men of all ages. There could be a number of different reasons for the problems, both physical and psychological. The good news is that there are certain solutions available that have proven effective, such as the Ejaculation Trainer (see site here http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=565), which can show a man how to develop permanent ejaculation control. By successfully addressing a man’s ejaculation concerns and teaching him how to control it, he will quickly become more confident and both he and his partner will be much more satisfied.
Cheers.

It is first experience of all humans. One tends to rub the genitals by instinct and lo the pleasure goes on increasing and then one reaches the climax. If one does on the basis of instinct, and not on the basis of reviving the first/previous experience, it is normal. If otherwise it has to be done moderation. One should not be obsessed with it. It may not cause any physical harm but obsession and hence imoderate masterbation can cause mental imbalance in the sense of ur loosing concentration on other activities of life.

Masturbation is the natural way in which we all learn about our bodies, religion has always stated that any kind of sex outside of marriage is bad, that the production of sperm is only for procreation, if you cast these misconceptions and prejudices aside you and your girlfriend can enjoy masturbation both alone and together, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, it is a natural exercise which keeps the body and senses ready for sex, it lubricates the female genitalia and increases blood flow in the male penis, and between partners mutual masturbation is pleasurable and a natural birth control.

Not at all. All those old wives tales were made up for various different religous reasons. Apparently in different cultures your not allowed to touch yourself so they used to make up stories to stop the younger people from experimenting.

it won't make u go blind, ur hand won't drop off & the world won't stop spinning.
but yes there r problems.
self-love is destructive in the end coz of the knack of the human mind finding it's the only means of satisfaction.
yep there r men that r so addicted 2 porn that their wang won't work without porn.
same with masturbation u can become so accustomed 2 it, u could find sex with a real person impossible/difficult.

i never heard anything bad about masturbation is bad. but i remembered a doctor said before, for guys who masturbate too much or over doing it, will cause the testicles & penis to pain first and bleed. this is due to too often of masturbations in a day or consecutive days/weeks masturbations. for ladies, i think it's still ok to mast. as long as you do a good clean up for your vagina areas and wash your hands & cut fingernails neatly, it will not cause germs or any viruses to settle in and cause irritations.
Adequate amount of masturbations is good for health, as in mentally, physically and emotionally for both genders. Excessiveness will only bring you problems.

No, it's not bad or fraught with death and disease. Most men in a happy relationship still masturbate even though they wouldn't admit to it if you put their balls in a vice. It's only a problem if it becomes excessive or preferred to normal sexual activity.

Silly child, it's YOUR body! YOU get to be in the 'driver's' seat!
Only when it is a replacement for a natural relationship, is it termed 'bad'.
Now, I wear glasses, for reading, and my Optrometrist assures me it is just my astigmatism... Yeah, had me worried there for a while... I am turning 60...
