If so, where, and for how long? Or were they just used in some "mini salon" during the product development process?

In short, is this just an advertising gimmick?

I have never seen their products in professional salons ever, i usually see bed head or trevor sorbie. I used it once and it made my hair very very greasy :| i wasn't impressed, so i suppose hairdressers weren't either!

DO NOT USE TRESEMME! The products are nasty, except for the heat tamer spray. I once used the Moisture Rich shampoo/conditioner, and all day at school my hair felt sticky, and dry. And people said my hair just didnt look the same as when I use my normal routine. Basically, all drugstore shampoo have harsh chemicals and suck all the much needed moisture out of your hair. Invest in salon quality ones. At some hair cut places, you can buy a product, try it out, and return it if you dont like it. I suggest that. My routine consists of Redken All Soft Shampoo/Conditioner, Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum, and Chi Silk Infusion. I straighten my hair with the Chi Original 1in every Tuesday and Thursday and use the Tresemme heat tamer spray(best heat protectant out there) hope i helped! xoxxo , grace! :)

Years ago I went to a nice older lady who ran a small shop with her best friend. They used Tresemme. This would have been in the early 90's.

My hairdresser told me not to use it, its cheap and you get what you pay for.... so I'd think no.
