For example I have a close circle of friends while he knows like every other guy on the planet. I like small get togethers with some alcohol and he likes wild parties. I only dated a few guys and let's say he's not inexperienced with girls. I certainly have no idea what he sees in me but he's constantly sending me sweet messages and he's overall really cute. I just don't know if it's worth even to try and begin something.

If you like him, go for it...sometimes differening personalities can be a good balance for each other...he may help draw you out some and allow you to experience (good) things you might otherwise have missed out on...you may show him how fun can still be had in intimate groups and in a more sedate manner...

I'm an introvert...but I'm drawn to more extroverted types...it just seems to work better that way for me...

I once dated a girl who was that different from me. She liked wild parties and going out all the time, while I liked intimacy and quality time w her. I felt good only with a small circle of trusted friends, but for her the bigger the crowd the better. Believe me, it did not work out at all. We were on each other's toes all the time. We loved each other and even the love-making was great. But in the end, things didn't work out.

I know opposites attract but this doesn't sound like a match made in heaven to me.

never compromise for the sake of having an atractive person with you, cause after awhile their actions overides how good they look and you still will be back where you are now, i would say just wait.
