I don't know about a teaching site but here is a link to an English to French/French to English on line dictionary: http://humanities.uchicago.edu/orgs/ARTFL/forms_unrest/FR-ENG.html

Rent French movies with subtitles too. I am taking French in school and I watched Indochine last night and looked up words I did not catch as I was watching the movie. Allot of words are very similar, it's just they talk so fast, so using the dic. and pause button helps allot.

Good luck

And as for Arnie, he appears to forget that if not for the aide of the French we may not have won our Liberty from England.

All you need to know about French is to put both hands up in the air and say "I surrender." You'll fit in just like a native.
